What is Mindfulness

What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is learning to pay attention to the present moment! Thoughts are constantly in our heads and sometimes we get caught up in our thoughts, even letting them drive our emotions and behaviour when they aren't even real. So instead of living in our heads and letting the thoughts rule, try living in the moment. Mindfulness lets us be aware of the thoughts and how they influence our emotions, but can help us realise that our thoughts do not have to control us. Are you getting caught up in your thoughts? Mindfulness is not about stopping the thoughts in your head or having a clear mind. It's about noticing the thoughts, but not getting involved in the chatter.
